Career Israel provides you with accommodation in central locations in Tel Aviv,
and Jerusalem . Please be aware that housing standards in Israel may be
very different than those of your home country. Apartments in Israel are
generally far smaller than their counterparts in the United States, and
therefore your Career Israel housing may be very different from college
dormitory standards in your home country or from your previous housing
experiences.
Tel Aviv:
The Career Israel Tel Aviv housing is located at 37 King George St., in the
heart of Tel Aviv, walking distance from the beach, Dizengoff Center and many
other Tel Aviv attractions. The dorm-like apartments are divided into 2, 3 or 4
person units. The units vary in size and structure and are assigned randomly
during the orientation of the program. Two person units are essentially two
people to a studio apartment consisting of one room with its own bathroom and
kitchenette. Three person units are larger versions of the two person unit,
with three people sharing one large room. Quads (four person units) are two
adjoining bedrooms and a common kitchenette and bathroom in between. A limited
amount of single units are available at an extra cost.

Jerusalem:
The accommodations in Jerusalem are in the Mt. Scopus Student village. Five
participants share an apartment with a common kitchenette (including a
refrigerator, microwave, stove-top and electric kettle), a living room and
bathrooms.
Each participant has his or her own small room furnished with a bed, a closet
and a desk. Laundry and cleaning services are not provided, but can be found
within the village area.
In addition, the accommodations are within walking distance of the French Hill
commercial center where there is a supermarket, pharmacy and other stores. It
is also within walking distance of the Mt. Scopus campus of Hebrew University.
Participants have the option of joining the university fitness center for a
discounted rate. It is not within walking distance of the city center; however
there is frequent bus service to most locations in Jerusalem.
